Samsung Russia team has a problem with selling their smart accessories (like portable chargers, speakers, wireless chargers, etc.). They've been selling only 280 units per year on average, and the goal for us was to double it. Also, Samsung Russia was ready to work on this project only with the CPA model.
In collaboration with Samsung creative agency (BBDO Moscow), we came up with the idea of partnering with the influencer, creating special Fan Boxes (packages) that would include Samsung accessories, and then promoting them to the influencer audience.
Since we had to promote and sell innovative accessories, we decided to involve the most popular pop-science blogger in Russia - Yan Toples. We designed and created special fan packages and called them "Toples Box". They also included some presents from Yan (like a piece of real meteorite, a fidget spinner, a card signed by Yan) and Samsung accessories.
Then we designed and developed a special landing page for the Samsung website (you could purchase box only there). Then Yan announced his collaboration with Samsung and promoted "Toples Boxes" in the video on his YouTube channel.
As a result - all "Toples Boxes" were sold out in the first 24 hours after the announcement video was published. CTR of the link below video was more than 12%. We sold 600+ Samsung accessories in less than one day.
